Blog Post 4

One day we read a poem in class, and i really liked it. It made me want to write a peom of my own even though I'm not good at poetry. It was one of the few peoms that i read that I actually like. It wasn't to long and it wasn't boring either. It was easy to understand. It made me think about where I grew up in the counrty.  I  really dont like having to read something thats really hard to understand. I feel like it's pointless for me to even read it if I cant understand it enough to get anything from it. But, I will definatly hold on to this poem.

  1. I agree with you Lottie, I don't like reading things that I can't understand either, It just feels like a waste of time. I also agree with you that the author did a great job of writing a simple poem but also a poem that had a lot of meaning as well.

  2. I really enjoyed reading this piece Lacy gave us. I like talking about my family and where I'm from. I think family is one of the most important things and where you came from in a way defines you.

  3. I liked the the idea of taking a picture of the poem you were reading. It makes me feel as if I was there when you were reading also. I would also recommend reading something that is from a different time period. It's very interesting trying to understand what the social norm was and what mattered to the people back then.
